CNC INNOVATIONS SPONSORING UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA FORMULA TEAM.

As CNC Innovations Sdn Bhd continues to grow and lead the market, we actively collaborate with local universities and colleges by sharing knowledge and providing opportunities for students to explore newly developed technologies and designs. This collaboration includes conducting exhibitions and technical sessions, offering access to advanced machines and tools for hands-on learning, and exchanging ideas to encourage innovation among students. Through these initiatives, CNC Innovations remains committed to nurturing future talent and contributing to the development of a skilled, forward-thinking workforce.

The Universiti Malaya Formula Team first approached CNC Innovations during the 2025 MIAPEX exhibition, and from there, the collaboration began to take shape. The team later visited our factory to observe our production processes and gain a deeper understanding of our company’s vision and mission. Through these interactions, we discovered a shared passion—particularly for motorsport.

Driven by this mutual passion, the collaboration grew stronger. From initial proposals to detailed discussions, CNC Innovations supported the UM Racing Team by supplying custom-made CNC car parts and raw materials.

While there were challenges along the way, including differing perspectives, these were addressed through open discussions and mutual understanding. Sharing industry insights with the younger generation has been both engaging and rewarding, as it bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.

On 22nd and 23rd April 2026, the UM Racing Team achieved an outstanding milestone by securing first place in the Formula Student Malaysia (FSM) 2026 Electric Vehicle (FSAE EV) category.

We are proud to have been part of this journey. The team’s dedication, innovation, and perseverance in designing and building their race car are truly commendable, and this victory is well deserved.
